its definatley chow it could b mixed tho
and yes its dye it depends upon the dye u use on how long it lasts
and no the dye does not hurt the dog if u get the rite dye

Its a mutt with a bad haircut and dye job.
There are dyes that are safe to use for pets. I imagine the dye lasts until you wash it out.
